From Momma and Papa Quilty
Due to Covid-19 concerns, there have been a couple of changes to the memorial service for Ryan. The date and time remains the same, but the service will be held outside (possibly with an overhead tent in case of rain). Masks and social distancing will still be required. Regretfully (very regretfully), we will also have to limit the number of people attending the luncheon to just family.
Those who want to will still be able to share brief stories or thoughts of Ryan during the service. We encourage serious or funny stories, by the way, as we want this to be a celebration of Ryan's life.
We would also like to thank everyone who sent us such wonderful texts, cards, and emails, and who have also taken the time to write and upload your remembrances of him. The outpouring of love from all of you - and your efforts with this memorial website - have been simply amazing, and it has given us real comfort to know how loved Ryan was, and how much of a blessing he was to all of you. We know that you were a blessing to him too, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Due to this crazy worlds condition we thought why not have an alternative memorial service that more people can attend together. We are going to compile these stories and memories, and keep his spirit alive! Stay tuned at the link below.
The Myth The Legend Day 2021 Date TBD
We want to have a huge party as soon as it's safe and un-covid out there. Our initial idea is to have the creative community create products to memorialize Ryan and generate funding for an education fund. Think: frisbees, vinyl records from his bands, limited edition frozen pizza, concerts from Chicago's best bands. That sort of thing.
